An experienced private client lawyer, Stephanie qualified in 1987 with Davis Campbell in Liverpool. She then moved to London to work for Merriman White, where she gained a good grounding in a wide range of probate, trust and tax work, as well as valuable experience dealing with a portfolio of residential and commercial conveyancing matters.
She joined Bowles & Co in 2003, where today she heads up the wills, probate and trusts team. A long-time member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners), in 2011 she was one of the first solicitors in the country to achieve their newly-introduced qualification, the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation, gaining a distinction in the examination. She is also a Member of Solicitors for the Elderly, an independent organisation of solicitors and legal professionals who provide specialist legal advice to older people, their families and carers.
